I don't understand the text on the wiki, sometimes the letters come out really big, sometimes small, esp. for links... It looks really unprofessional and I don't know why it does this...

That's why I like sites without pre-editing. They provide a lot more freedom with how things can look, and only you can mess them up. Wikispaces kinda bites in that respect.
It doesn't give you any way to change the font style or size, either. I just figured that out when I put on a link and it came out pretty big. You'd think they give you a bit more room to personalize things, but noooooo.
